This is a really "wide" skyscraper. I don't think I've seen them this wide before?

I don't know what its purpose is, but looks like it is T/O.

Located in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Autonomous Region, Iraq.

I don't really like it though, but have to see how it looks like once finished. Would've been better if it was entirely glass...

Vilmos Fillinger - Edificio Martinelli (Martinelli building) in Săo Paulo, Brazil

it's not the tallest skyscraper anymore, but it's still a beautiful and very imposing building.

I think St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican/Rome, Palais de Justice in Brussels and the central station of Milan are among if not the most imposing buildings. Although there are buildings that are higher and bigger, what I find uniquely imposing with these buildings is that there is nothing in their architecture that tells the scale of the buildings; There is no ordinary sized doors, no ordinary sized windows or anything else "human-scaled" to be found on the outside. They could easily have used the same exact designs on buildings a quarter their sizes. This gives the impression that the buildings were actually made for someone much larger than humans and makes you feel like an "ant" visiting the world of giants.

Not sure if already posted, the imposing Cologne Cathedral dwarfing everything around it.

Here's the two most imposing buildings in Ohio. Located right next to eachother, they are the 289 meter Key Tower and the 201 meter BP Building.

They don't look too imposing from far away...

But from Public Square they are absolutely towering:

However since they are good-looking buildings (especially Key Tower) their imposing presence is certainly no problem.
