Prudential Tower

image hosted on flickr

I like the cool blue lighting they added at the top of the Pru (short for Prudential Tower). There’s a wind turbine in Dorchester that is lit up blue also that I think looks cool. I should try and get a good picture of that. I just like blue lights I guess.

The glittery ***** to the left of the Pru is 111 Huntington Ave. I'll never get used to it being there. It doesn’t look like it belongs in Boston to me and throws off the Back Bay skyline. I wouldn’t mind it as much if it were downtown. They should pass an ordinance to prevent any further damage to the Back Bay skyline. I really think the view of Boston from across the Charles is one of the best city views there is.

Financial District

North End, gives you an idea of what Boston looked like before urban renewal
image hosted on flickr

It looks like the North End goes on forever in this picture, but what you see is parts of Chelsea and East Boston in the distance. The harbor lies in between, hidden by the buildings.
