Get Cash For Gold!

We've all seen the adverts. Probably the worst set of adverts ever produced for television. Even worse than the accident/compensation adverts.

Anyway, has anyone ever used any of those companies yet and if so how much did you get for your gold? (can't believe people would send their gold off in those bags)

What's their cut? Does anyone know? Got to be at least 2/3rds?

See what I mean? (he also supports Chelsea and takes a toothbrush with himself)

I heard you're lucky if you get half the spot price.

Some us news channel did a test where they sent certified 14ct gold and was offered less than half back by the company and was told it was only 9ct gold.

Another thing they found out was that most companies will double their offer if you reject it and ask for the gold back.

I'm surprised nobody has used Mr T yet. You'd think he'd be the ideal celeb for it.

Jesus! He must have been worth millions.

Still, even if you get as little as half the price of gold (which is now around 661 pounds an ounce) you'd be doing better than Gordon "the moron" Brown. He sold off 300 tonnes - half of the Bank of England's gold reserves - at rock bottom prices back in 2000. He even let the gold markets know that the UK was about to sell the gold, lowering the price even further to create what is known as the "Brown low". I believe he sold the nation's gold at about 150 pounds an ounce...

It was when he stuck it in that pre-paid envelope they'd sent him that I first got suspicious.

It's pathetic, isn't it? At least Russia had the gutso to postpone the sale of some of it's gold reserves when news of the imminent sale was leaked, a couple of weeks back!
