Petrzalka is Bratislava southern suburb, located south of the Danube river and "famous", because of the quite a commieblock architecture.
Still, its nothern part, close to the river Danube undergone and is still undergoing a new construction - business and lodging facilities. Moreover, yesterday the city government approved the new area for the development (located in the near of the new bridge, but on Petrzalka side).
Additionally, new urban competition is taking place now, called South city which aims to change also the southern part of this Bratislava district.

As for the Digital park - it´s already in construction, but not the tower itself, but the administrative building in the near.
Drazdiak tower and residential complex construction should begin in June -July.
Einsteinova tower and complex is in construction as well, still, I have to check, whether the construction of the tower itself already started.

Also, let´s see the results of the South City competition :) .

Well, thank you for the nice comments :), by the way, Drazdiak tower is near Drazdiak lake (on the map inside the Southcity circle).
And Belgrade´s waterfront development time will be coming, in Bratislava it took also some time for the preparation, just work hard and be patient, wish you good luck Belgrade!

thanks but Belgrade has no plans for Danube waterfront. Only Sava one where in coming years whole new city will rise since that area is huge but currently occupied by illegal housing, broken trains and gauges. When moving of train station is done it will hopefully become a very nice waterfront.

This is the other part of Belgrade's Danube waterfront

It's called Zemun and has Hungarian look.
Well, Bratislava to be honest, missed the construction boom at the second half of 19th century, which was characteristic for many cities, maybe now it´s the time to make it up.

No, I don´t have the photos. But the whole area (Ballymore property) is cleared and there was a disagreement about the one building, which will finally serve as a museum.

Let's just say most Danube cities are beautiful... Belgrade, Budapest, Bucharest, Wien and Ulm. Probobly some nice towns also on the Danube but I don't know names. :)
I agree - cities on Danube are beautyful, even some small, for example twin cities on Hungarian and Slovak borders such as Sturovo-Esztergom or Komarno-Komarom.
BTW Bucharest is not on Danube.

OK, the architects competition for the future outlook of Petrzalka Southcity was cancelled. The reason is the change of the area ownership, new developer will care about the development of this area. This, however, won´t exlude, that the parts of the competition proposals will be used later for the final concept.
