I didn't realise there was going to be this amount of height and such a significant cluster of tall/mid rise buildings here.

My hope is that it will eventually spread down the rest of the peninsula and through Charlton Riverside all the way to Woolwich. This should probably be the route for steve's idea of a second jubilee line, and could continue on to Thamesmead as there were plans for the Jubilee line to. It would be my preferred route for the Bakerloo line to take after Lewisham.

Part of the current masterplan is still relatively low rise, towards the West and South. Does anyone know when construction is planned there? My hope is that it will be later, as the masterplan could then change again to make this even more high rise.

Thanks SE9, the plot numbers really help to visualise where each site is!

Greenwich Millennium Village, is obviously further south as to what the map shows?

Indeed, the GMV is immediately south-east of the Greenwich Peninsula masterplan.

They're separated by John Harrison Way.

Looks like what was known as Peninsula Quays has been renamed Meridian Quays? I hope I have that right..

The scale of what's proposed here is pretty staggering. Easily the largest number of highrises proposed in a single development in London ever.

With all these new residents, the cable car may actually get some users!

Really impressive.

What's happening to the land to the left near Millennium Way??

Remaining undeveloped?

I take it there isn't any possibility of this Peninsular getting anything closer to 200m proposed? Those AOD's are set in stone?

sadly zero skyline aesthetic or signature though. The dome just sat there by itself managed to achieve that!

Yes that’s one downside to it all. The dome will be completely obscured from all longer distance viewing points which is a shame as it’s a bit of a landmark on the skyline, particularly from Greenwich.

There’s supposedly a massive development for Cathedral Group for Morden Wharf designed by OMA that could be interesting but nothing’s been heard on that for a long long time.
