Will the walkway along the river be publicly accessible?

Today

Phase 1 and 2

At phase 3, the cores have begun to shoot up

There's an enormous empty plot of land across the road from this development which effectively links it to Timekeeper's Square. I'd expect something relatively tranformative on this site.. hopefully something will get announced soon. A bridge across to the Meadows wouldn't go amiss either

Nice new vista being created there...

Hopefully one day not too are away we'll have a clear stretch all the way from Regent Road across Chapel Street and round the corner to Blackfriars.

Hardly a riverside walkway when you've got all that sediment build up, is it?

We need a massive clearing operation of Manchester's riverbanks - getting rid of all the weeds (most of which are now fully-grown trees) and all the massive banks of sediments. Install proper promenades, wide open spaces, lit up at night, maybe have a sculpture trail, miles and miles of uninterrupted promenade alongside a cycle path. Our riverside is so beautiful, with some gorgeous scenery and bridges. It's such a shame we don't have a cohesive walkway connecting Salford University with Salford Quays - which would be a beautiful 3 mile walk.

In answer to my own question, I had time to dig into the Planning Docs for phase 1 and 2.

There will be a 4 metre wide riverside path which will be connected to open public spaces which lead on to Adelphi Street.

The path between Broughton Bridge (Mocha Parade) and the site is quite attractive. This will be a positive addition!

I asked the question.
I got a reply, there will be a path, but there is the idea it'll be kept for the tenants due to public liability, so there might be access, but through a coded gate.

What's planned for those concreted over plots across the road and next door?

Those dinky little bungalows down the road are going to look massively out of place once this is done.
