Does anyone have info on the conversion of the annex building into an Address Hotel? Are they working on it? When is it due to be completed?

Please excuse the atrocious photo quality in this post, but it was the best I could do from the plane at night with tourist equipment.

Exactly 6 years ago I visited Dubai for the first time and took this picture! A lot has changed since then!

Yesterday we celebrated the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence. The Burj Khalifa (alongside other iconic builings around the world) was iluminated in white-red colours:

What is the climate like right at the pinnacle of Burj Khalifa? Also, has the pinnacle witnessed snow flurries in winter?

are u serious or it's a joke ???

how can you expect SNOW in such a desert type environment ?

you realise temperatures in Dubai never goes below 20°C (and that is in the core of the ''winter'') ?

Stranger things have happened. If the desert near Jeddah, which is far hotter, can receive snow now and then, why not this? And although it never snowed, temperatures regularly dipped below 5'c in Doha where I lived for some time.

No, it did not..

Stop bringing your fairytale book into this forum, and I'll refrain from quoting Santa Claus..

On another note, I would love to go to Dubai someday soon and see this beauty in person! Maybe I'll wait for the Dubai Creek Tower to Finnish, and I'll get two!

This question will make sense if Burj Khalifa is 1600m

Theoretically speaking .. and without taking into consideration all other very important factors for snowfall, like atmospheric temperatures on different layers, humidity and so on ... If it would snow on the pinnacle of BK (800m) temperature up there should be no more than 2 Degrees Celsius, meaning temperature on ground level (0m) should be roughly 8 Degrees Celsius but alas the record lowest temp recorded ever in Dubai is 9.1

"The exterior temperature at the top of the building is thought to be 6 °C (11 °F) cooler than at its base"
