During last summer, G8 tried to bring one drect flight in the Kochi to Delhi & back sector and was mentioned there in the CIAL website; but they did not operate the same flight at their own reasons. It may be the seventh flight of G8.

Let us hope this best.

One flight operation every 5 minute, it is time to plan for the second runway.

G8 is not aggressive as 6e.. their rate of growth is very slow.. so cant expect soon

That means Kochi.- Trichy daily three service. Why This much addition in this route? Is it due to connection service to gulf from COK or due to Velankanny pilgrimage?

I think these are just approval. Not sure whether they will start or not.

6E has received 1 or 2 ATR aircrafts recently but did not hear anything about the deployment of those aircrafts.

Targeting gulf , may be they are making cok as transit point for gulf operations.. 6e already have plans to start saudi service also

I fear that once CNN start functioning, will 6E move those flights to CNN??? They are just using those flights in COK - *** routes only till when they get approval to operate new routes from CNN? Otherwise what is the potential of COK-BBI? And COK-TRZ double daily?

Transit hub is possible only if 6E uses the same terminals for both international and domestic operations.. Is it possible in COK?

In DEL & BOM, Indigo's domestic and international operations are from different terminals. So it wont be a problem I guess.

In del and bom, 6E only transit domestic passengers to domestic destinations(operations are from the same terminal) .. If they want to travel internationally, then they have to change terminals, which means check out from domestic terminal and travel to international terminal and then re check in, its very rare. In the case of cochin, terminals are not so far, that is the only advantage.

Just 2 min walk between terminals in COK.... But comparing with BOM, DEL, SIN....

Is there no airside bus facility for dom int transit at bom or del or anyother india airports?

For cok a simple walkalator btwn terminals are sufficient
