One step at a time! Great to see we're close enough to have the runway numberings!

Just putting my tourism hat on for a moment Brisbane in 2017-2018 has had a massive amount of new 4 and 5 star hotels open or about to.

W Hotel
Emporium Hotel South Bank
Westin last week opened with a swim up bar .
Holiday Inn
FV by Peppers
Novotel South Bank
The Calile on James
Art Series Hotel at Howard St Wharves soon to open
This is putting BNE on the map and adding extra accommodation to allow extra flights to come.

Also part of Howard Smith Wharves opens next week with other sections opening over the next 4 months.A great tourist and entertainment area for locals and tourists.

It called up as Polynesian 843 not Samoa 843 which is interesting.Good to have another foreign carrier into BNE.

Tropicair PNG ..P2-MEH Citation 525 was in once again most likely a medivac. It is a defacto international airline for us and what a great livery.

The CEO of BNE was on today.

He kept dropping the South America word so...take that as a hint maybe

He also claims and this is years away but promises directed London New York no stoppers.

Also good CA and QR will not give up on flying out of there but I have a feeling it will be 2020.

The Podcast is hell on earth to zoom in on the time, there is a depressing report on Legionnaires' disease and a traffic report but try about 2.35.

Samoa getting a 737-900 or MAX 9....Not sure what they are saying as a bit ambiguous.

Samoa Airways to get its second plane from next month
Meanwhile, Samoa Airways will be operating a second plane from the beginning of next month.

Tuila'epa Sailele Malielegaoi said the airline will be operating a new Boeing 737-900.

The Minister responsible for the airline, Lautafi Purcell hinted at the launch of Samoa Airways last year that the airline was already looking at introducing the D Max 9, which is other name for the B737-900.

Tuilaepa hasn't said where the second plane will be leased from, but the current plane is on lease from an Italian airline.
