The FFA didn't pay for the extra seats to be used. Probably because they didn't expect a 50k+ crowd.

Guessing it will be used for the Bledisloe Cup. Could be the record breaker for the stadium.

Was a very tense affair, no flow to the game. Too bad, but that usually happens when its a game in a new environment and with such high stakes. Not surprised.

Stadium was nice. Not ideal for soccer. I was in the shed and the viewing angle sucked even though its a fun place to be. Looking forward to getting back to hbf park when you can actually feel like you're apart of the game.

How stupid is it to hsve a HBF Park, HBF Arena and HBF Stadium?

There have already been stories of people turning up to the wrong venue, especially since Perth Oval changed name

Stupid people thinking they're going to watch Glory at Challenge Stadium or Carl Baron at Arena Joondalup deserve to arrive at the wrong venue. Is really stupid though.

It'll be people who put in a destination into their GPS or Uber app and don't know their way around Perth.

More likely for a major one off concert with people who only attend one event a year rather than sports events. For example I fully expect hundreds to turn up in Clermont to see Elton John!

Hopefully something happens on that patch of dirt on the left of photo 2 & 3 that was used for site office for the bridge.
Something to draw people in on non event days would be good. Even a few more restaurants, bars, cafe.

I'm sure there's a plan for it once the bridge is finished.

Think hack is taking the piss.... as even now when construction is finished the bridge looks unfinished/ is unfinished vs original design.

The stadium and bridge are the dominant feature of the city when you fly in at night.

Would be nice if they did something with the GFF and Narrows bridges as well to make them stand out more at night.

Even just feature light poles on either of those bridges would add something. Always like seeing these at Roe/Kwinana and I've seen them somewhere else can't remember where. Underrated (but probably extremely overpriced).
