Yup opposite cofton park it will be next to the new village hall and run the entire length until the junction

The latest app covers the final phase of EAST works so that section will be complete

Leaves some plots at north works to be built

The whole of West works still to be developed

As expected most of what was the remaining factory is going to be demolished now...

They should hand over the whole site take space at a new build for the design HQ

Massive missed opportunity to have the “town centre” facing onto cofton park...

The only two building of note on the whole site now are what were nicknamed the Kremlin and the Elphant House. It would be a shame if these go.

I really do hope both of those get preserved. There's a tonne of history in those buildings. It's a shame they couldn't preserve the Flight Shed but that in itself understandably unviable.

Would’ve been better with the town centre at q gate overlooking cofton park with a new train station on the nearby line and museum at the elephant house etc.

Yep it seems St Modwen have the same amount of innovation, integrity, creativity and conscience as a stick of wood.....
To think of the amount of land, an array of fine historical factory buildings to re-use, a railway line and feeder line, a river running through, and a nearby park, along with a bit of a blank canvas in lots of areas they still came up with one of the crappiest ideas this city has seen.
