This upscale store is my favorite place to shop if/when I can afford it.
The stores generally have the same basic design and color scheme, adapted of course to malls.
It is the oldest men's clothing store in the US. It also sells women's clothes now too:
Here is the flagship store in Manhattan - 346 Madison Ave., Midtown East, Manhattan.
Here is the Rodeo Drive store, adapted to Los Angeles. A bit weird to my eyes but still in keeping with the tradition.
And we have the primary Boston location on Newbury Street:
“In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future. When we neither punish nor reproach evildoers we are thereby ripping the foundations of justice from beneath new generations.”
“The meaning of earthly existence lies not, as we have grown used to thinking, in prospering but in the development of the soul.”
