DA is being lodged hopefully in June.
half the tower is hotel, top half resi. they have a major hotel chain signed.
they want to start 2020 and completion 2024.
cant wait

Culwulla, I know your info is accurate and I don't doubt you. My point was that the previous blurb from the other person was simply marketing hyperbole.

Who is the hotel chain that has signed up?

I also know for a fact that the money to build it is nowhere near finalised. They may well need a JV partner or similar.

BTW, your photos of Crown (as well as those from CND) are fantastic!

Crown Syd and Premier seem to have very similar glazing reflection wise.

Both are chameleons depending on clear or overcast days.

Love em both!

JCooza has posted the first pics of West Side Place's glass, which looks pretty good. db2 has posted the latest render, along with one of a hitherto unheralded stained glass feature.

It seems all four towers of West Side will have different coloured glass:

- Tower A (270m) / silvery-black

- Tower B (211m) / crimson

- Tower C (230m) / green

- Tower D (240m) / blue

Variety is the spice of life I suppose.

I'm just stunned how many good looking towers are going up, especially in Melbourne and Sydney, I mean it's next level stuff for this country.

I agree with your comment but there are a couple of mediocre ones too. Central equity comes to mind.

My favourite Melbourne tower is only just getting started, the 250m Queens Place (north tower):

The one being built is the one on the left side.
