I've been waiting for Queens Place to join the QVM car park party. Thanks, Papps.

Wondering what the core box is to the bottom right of Lighthouse in the last of Papps pics and how much of the gap there whatever it is will fill. Anyone help?

I haven’t performed any angular geometry on my photo location, but I would hazard a guess that the only Project through there with a white core box is The Peak at 141-149 LaTrobe Street.

Edit: The red and blue crane boom suggests Hamilton Marino.... I would think ‘The Peak’ has my nod!

Surprised to see that The Peak makes any impression at all, from QVM. It's around level 35 now, so won't be filling that gap, at a total of 45L. Just as well, considering the state of its western fašade (even if they do paint it).

BUT!

Should I have taken the photo from a point another 10 to 20 metres to the South of this location.....

There will be a filler indeed....

Sapphire and Shangri-La will be filling the gap quite nicely, though in the background somewhat, and another 90m taller than The Peak.

No it is too small...so it would have to be Lysterfield Lake...or Silvan Reservoir further up north!

Based on the angle of the skyline I'd say it's Sugarloaf reservoir

Yes meant to say Sugarloaf Reservoir...not Silvan since it is behind Mount Dandenong and you could not see the City from there!
It is just the shape of it and the size of it, I thought could match Lysterfield Lake...but with those lenses perceptions are out of whack !

Overheard a lady telling her husband, "That's the new Metro Station in Fed Square. How hideous!"
