A few years ago I came close, the publishers were't offering the right royalties, so I backed out.

I have my own website to deal with at the moment, it needs a major overhaul.

Honestly, I think 32Blocks will probably have a book out before me!
Fantastic work TC A book from you will definitely be on my ‘to buy’ list ... I have had to step back from writing my book over the last couple of days - I am my hardest and worst critic, not sure if it is good enough etc.

I agree, see many skyline pics show Melbourne from the east now. Back in the day the skyline was mostly viewed from the south. Spring and Spencer being the limits. Today the expanse from the north at top of Elizabeth St to the Westgate Freeway in South Bank show the scope of new development with more impact.

Fantastic finds red!

Are these photos taken by yourself?

If so, do you have more?

Yes, they are my photos...I must drag out my old scrap books and make threads of particular projects pre the internet.

Not a bad idea, given the value of those photos for historical purposes.

Furthermore, they detail quite significantly what came ‘before’, as in the first skyscrapers to be built in Melbourne....
