It's a big pilgrimage center, a must see for catholics in Poland. I've been there on a school trip years ago and it was pleasant although I couldn't help but notice some commies were renovated rather terribly.

pilgrimage center but not only - 240 000 inhabitants, art galleries, museums, Cz-wa University of Technology, Jan Dlugosz University, theater, philharmony, steelwork, glassworks and many interesting places in area.

clip from 80s estonia, homevideo cameras probably wasnt yet very widespread at this moment, so its kinda rare amateur material mostly about smalltown environment

Good bye Lenin is a great film, but Red Road includes a lot more of the architecture of the flats. I used to live in Glasgow, and it stays true to a lot of what I remember about the hightowers.
