A big complex in Colombes (Western Paris suburb) that will be getting a renovation worth of more than a hundred million euro:

The London photographer James Burns, who's life project is called "London from the Rooftops" also has a number of photo albums of French social housing, especially Parisian. Check these two for starters but there are more:

More than building rennovation, it is an "urban renewal" project. And it's a large neighbourhood, comprising of 15000 inhabitants (66% social housing).

A few buildings will be demolished, and 140 homes will have to built for the leaving inhabitants, but only 30 will be built in the same neighbourhood. There will be refurbishments and redevelopments (some towers, a school). A new "centre" will be built, comprising of a "médiatheque", a cultural & social centre, a resid-hotel, shopping spaces, a new "security" facility ( a police station?), spaces for civic entities. The roads will be reconfigured, the green spaces too, an artisan area...

The architecture of this complex in Pontoise is still looking good. It has probably benefited from at least one renovation in its lifetime.

This complex in Gentilly has since been renovated, it looks quite nice. But it wasn't bad anyway and the changes weren't very important. The detail I liked the most was the new cladding of the balconies, in glass panels with drawings on them, especially music notes.
