Do you know that the DRC is losing nearly $ 16 billion in GDP every year for the benefit of these neighbors (Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, RSA) because of the lack of a deep-water port!

Information collected from the Ministry of Transport to justify the imperative need to launch the construction of the Banana Deep Water Port, quoted by scooprdc!

Dr Congo needs both the port and the transport (rail, roads) connections to be built before we can accept this bridge....


If not, DR congo should not put in money on it....have the AU pay for the bridge itself...and in the end, it could only serve as a transit route for intercontinental goods

Have to look for Dr Congo's interests first...

The problem is that the DRC is not in a hurry to build a deep water port at Banana nor does it have a plan to connect the future bridge to its rail network. Unfortunately, the DRC does not know what it wants…
