As much as I love this building and think that Sydney is too much of a mongrel I do think this is the one site that could have changed the face of Sydney if we had something a little more radical such as Zaha Hadidesque design.

Q. will the central core be reshaped to be smaller as it rises?

i ask as the real estate around that core seems to be getting smaller as it get taller. May just be an illusion because its so effing high but be interesting to know

Thats what the core is doing now. They are modifying the shape to the southern end as 2 of the 3 lift shafts there drop off.
You will see that around L51 the slabs will wrap around the core on the western face.
Each floor gets smaller and slightly twists as the building gets taller. No floor is the same which makes this building even more interesting.
Just wish the facade guy would hurry up

sept22, 10am
looks like new configurated corebox is nearly done. hoping this week it will start to rise again.
too long 1month stagnant
we need 15 rises,50m, straight up to lev66 or 250m woohoo!!
i reckon we might see 4-5 day cycles
also the small corebox which has support walling has only 4-5 levls left to go and that will also stop at lev50.
