Oishi adds healthy snacks to product line

Andrew Tan’s Emperador buys Spain’s Fundador

Yellow Cab to open 15 stores in China
The deal with China's ZhongFa Group is the first this year for Max’s Group

“We are thrilled with the opportunity of bringing our pizza to Beijing, Tianjin and parts of Hebei province. Trota told the Philippine Stock Exchange on Monday, January 11.

This is the first deal for Max’s Group this year.

In 2015, the restaurant chain finalized 5 new partnerships with various international partners involving the rollout of 15 Yellow Cab stores in Saudi Arabia within 10 years, 10 Yellow Cab and right Pancake House restaurants in United Arab Emirates within 5 years,10 Sizzlin’ Steak outlets in Vietnam within 5 years, and 3 Max’s Restaurants in San Diego, California, over the next 5 years.

At present Yellow Cab has a network of 118 branches including 6 franchised outlets located in Qatar.

For 2016, Maxs Group plans to open 70-80 stores, 60-65 of which are in the Philippines while 15-20 stores are overseas.

Filipino-themed restaurant to open branches in Satwa and Abu Dhabi





Filipinos based in Satwa and Abu Dhabi will soon get a taste of home as Little Manila, the first authentic Filipino-themed restaurant in the United Arab Emirates, is opening a branch near them.

Little Manila operator, the Al Ahli Group, has revealed plans to bring the well-received concept to Satwa and Abu Dhabi. The restaurant brings top Filipino food brands under one roof including Binalot, Jay-J’s, Fruitas Group, Mochi Crème, Zagu, Fiftea, along with in-house brands Kwekie Bites and Breadshop.

Parvez Naqvi, international business development head for Al Ahli Holding Group, said the inaugural branch in Muraqqabat Deira receives 1,000 daily foot traffic with some coming from as far as Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and other emirates of the UAE.

congratulations on your 3rd branch.

The last time I ate at their 1st SG branch, the clientele was 90% Filipino. At their branches here in New York And Jersey City it's about 70% in my estimation.

Bench Body heats up New York Fashion Week–a first for a Filipino brand

Homegrown lifestyle brand Bench scored big this week after successfully staging its first-ever show at New York Fashion Week Men’s Spring Summer 2017 collections—the first Filipino company to present in the Big Apple.
Bench Body, the brand’s underwear line, collaborated with New York brand and CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist Cadet for the show, directed by Ariel Lozada. It was held on Monday in a loft location called Michelson Studio in downtown Manhattan.
