ayos pala yung solar, dito na na rin pala mina-manufacture, dapat nga talaga -i-encourage ng govt paggamit ng solar to save on oil and gas import, 50% yata ng import ng pinas eh oil and gas, para lalo lumaki savings, para martulungan na rin mga jobless, poor, by giving them living allowance of at least 15k / months just like in the USA, pero naipalabas dati sa GMA, mga homeless pinoys sa USA, nakakakuha ng $1200 allownce for their shelter assistance

How can solar usage help in minimizing "joblessness"? Ibig bang sabihin magka trabaho na kapag merong solar panel? Please expound.

Ang tanong ko po ay patungkol sa nasabi mo na jobless. Eto, para malinaw:
Problem = jobless
Solution= provide job opportunities
Subsidies doesn't mean jobs, if you meant "giving"= dole-outs.

di ko sinabing mabigyan ng trabaho mga jobless, malamang magkaron na rin sila due to increase in economic activities, imagine, yung mga $20B na gasots annually sa oil and gas, di na pupunta sa foreigners kundi sa atin na lang, bale di na kailangan utangin yung pagdevelopp ng mfa bagong cbd like yung clark at yung mga casino sa moa area sa may pasay, at dahil $$20B, maaaring every year 2 regions will have the same magnitude as the clark development

Doesn't hold true at all. When you limit your imports-->oil for one, it may plug some of the money leak, grow the economy a bit. But oil is just one of the sectors where our money goes out, there are equipment and foodstuffs that we must buy abroad since we are not self-sufficient. What is $20B you are mentioning compared to our economy which is about $1.98T? 1% is statistically not significant, IMHO.

In the same manner, as long as the same moneys/products are circulating in the Philippines, the economy will stay at the same level. Unless the country earns from exports of goods/services, or foreign investments arrive in droves --> injection of monies from outside, the economy gets to rise to a higher level. Internal consumption will only keep the businesses alive but not improve, no additional businesses will be coming-->no new jobs created.

Ah, I see. A trillion is way way small for you compared to billions!

Maynilad to appeal Supreme Court's P921.5 million fine
ABS-CBN News
Posted at Aug 07 2019 11:47 AM

Quote:
MANILA - Metro Pacific Investments Corp on Wednesday said its unit Maynilad Water Services Inc would appeal a Supreme Court ruling that fined it for violation of the Clean Water Act.

The high court on Tuesday ruled that Maynilad, rival Manila Water and the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) were "jointly severally liable" for violations such as failure to put up sewage lines and treatment facilities.

"Please be informed that Maynilad Water Services, Inc has not yet received a copy of the decision. However, Maynilad intends to file a motion for reconsideration within the 15-day period from the time it receives a copy of the decision," Maynilad told the stock exchange.

Fines of over P921.5 million each will be imposed on Maynilad and Manila Water for the said violations, Supreme Court Spokesperson Brian Keith Hosaka earlier said.
