you have many types of restaurants in lisbon city centre, there are cheaper and expensive, for cheaper restauransts you can go to chiado, that it's a nice lisbon district in historic centre , where u can find many fast food restaurants there, shops, and coffes where u can have a snack, if u prefer something typical, like portuguese food, you can find cheaper or expensive restaurants in Bairro Alto, that is a old district near chiado, where u can find bars, restaurants were u can hear typical music called Fado. this is only in historic centre. if you are staying in the newesr part of the city centre u have many places to eat too.

Beautiful.

In some of the pictures the city reminded me of Mexico City and Buenos Aires.

Favelas around Lisbon? Well, actually, you found that "misery places" in very few places like in the biggest Lisbon suburb, called Amadora, a huge city near Lisbon, where lives many people, speccialy emigrants from Africa or in the North entrance of the city, near the Highway n.º 1, the Vasco da Gama Bridge and Nations Park, the newest zones of the city.In this place lives, like Amadora, many people from Africa. But this problem will be disappear until 2008/2009. whith the construccion of many appartment Blocks for all these people who lives in "favelas".
