The core box only forms the core and structural columns. The floors are poured later beneath the core box, just like Skytower.

Today. I'm so into the progress of the resi, that sometimes I forget just how substantial a building the office tower is going to be. It's already really standing out in that part of town.

Look at AB's top photos on the office tower. The Core box is being built separately, but the structural columns and floors are being build together. I guess there is different ways of doing it.

Yes, it is quite a tall tower at 182m, sitting between 111 Eagle Street (195m) and Central Plaza One (174m) in the height ranks. It will be Brisbane's 8th tallest building on completion and then pushed down to 9th tallest when The One completes.

Aren't 1WS (excl. spire) and 111 Eagle both taller to roof?

You are correct!

I thought 1 William Street was shorter. There you go.

Yeah the office building is using the more conventional method. I assume the "full footprint" method being used on The One allows the building to rise faster on projects that use the same size floor plates all the way up.

The Brisbane Development FB page has released an updated full height image of the residential tower. Looks great.

Brackets for glass already on the lower few levels can be seen from REX. May see some glass this week?

Could we be so lucky as to strike the magic three out of three for glass?
