I did find a marketing brochure last weekend saying the plot infront of the Soccerdome was a planned 150,000 sq ft multi let wellness and leisure development, sounds like this could be the same thing, but the plots moved around?

This will mean a rename of the Event City Metrolink stop before it even opens then!

It would make more sense to have this where the soccordome is, so its where all the other leisure activities are....

Nothing says wellbeing like the perpetual smell of sewage around the TC.

Vector Arena Tower was approx 45 storeys, perhaps it has been re-submitted for planning.

I was disappointed it never saw the light of day.

^ That sounds like the Greengate one JRB shared images of the other week - next to Anaconda Cut and the Residence and bigger than both

If it's specifically DeTrafford projects and it looks like it could well be then it's not Greengate it's part of the Great Ducie Street framework. DeTrafford have a plot on Mary Street and were due to submit a design (circa 35 plus) early 2019. Designed by SimpsonHaugh. We saw a concept late 2017 but that was just a concept.

Vector Arena was the seed for today's skyline. Someone thought it was possible and we dreamed a dream. Apt the plot, remarkably, is only just built on!

Anyway back to reality. One of the concepts for the DeTrafford plot on Mary Street was this. For those interested, Mary Street is part of the first phase of development for the Great Ducie Street framework which includes vast public realm, a hotel and a commercial block.

I was sent this little snippet in Nov 2018

1 Mary Street...I'm not sure how many floors, but I've seen a ground floor GA and it has 4 lifts. So if it's pure resi, we're talking 35+ stories minimum.
