Manila has more than two skylines. There is no central core downtown unlike most cities, instead we have business districts spread across the metropolitan area each with their own skylines.

In this flight view video, you can clearly see the three of Metro Manila's major skylines.

Starting from the leftmost is the Makati skyline then as it spans to the right you see the Bonifacio Global City skyline in the foreground and then the Ortigas Center-Mandaluyong skyline in the background.

The buildings are short indeed but still definitely a skyline

But for me it's not got a significant prominence on the skyline yet. The Burj Khalifa has a significant prominence on the Downtown, and or like the Burj Al Arab has a significant prominence on the Marina, the other skylines lack something that gives it a bit more flavour.

If all the slow/dormant projects around Al Jaddaf/Healthcare City, Meydan and Nshama City were built then then Dubai Creek Harbour would not really be a separate skyline from Downtown, it would all be connected into one humongous skyline. But that would depend on projects that have been going at a snail's pace or not at all for years.

It looks like one single skyline but Downtown Vancouver is in the foreground and Metrotown is in the back.

New York has two primary skylines: Midtown & Downtown. Additional skylines include Downtown Brooklyn, Long Island City and Jersey City.
