I went to the mall today, it's quite huge, outdoor indoor, bigger than I expected. Only a handful of tenants open their business. One of the nicest malls in jb in term of finishes and design. I hope they could secure more famous or established tenants in the future. I saw renovation notice for the cinema, they would only finish in June.

Thanks for posting the photos, EzadHfizy: nice! The surrounding areas look cleaned up now, including the grounds below the pedestrian overhead walkway.

Base from the latest postponement of the RTS project..im really interested to see how this R&F development perform..especially how long the tenants of the newly open shopping mall there can survive...

Base from Propertyguru website...the rental rate of the apartments there are on par with nearby apartments rental rate...Sky Meldrum..V Summerplace..sky habitat..

If people actually live in those buildings, the mall will survive.

Went last weekend, not much people and only a few shops opened. Construction in the cinema space still going on.

That's a familiar JB 3rd-World standard right there!

Seen it all in this town, so not at all surprised.

Agree. JB workmanship even in Nusajaya buildings is poor. Not at KL level.

Nusajaya is a dead town. I pity those who bought there.

Agree! I went there for the pre-opening yesterday. They had the nicest id, very premium and has 'atas' feels as they claimed. Even the toilet feels like high end hotel one. Hope they can sustain cause Emperor Cinemas has definitely become my go to cinema now. The fnb in R&F is getting more outlet opening soon like tealive, boost and burger king. Quite bummed that carls jr has pull out and cancelled their opening there.

Nice to have be able to go watch a movie and then take a nice evening stroll by the water.

Yesterday’s news mentioned about possible measures to ease the causeway congestion, including “creating a shipping lane” — https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/se...box=1566472080

Not sure what “creating a shipping lane” means, but if it means reviving the crooked bridge to allow ships to sail underneath, then this would be a good opportunity to plan for an extended coastal walkway under the bridge to connect to the western part of the R&F plot (currently empty)

This walkway can go all the way to the reclaimed lands further along the Danga Bay coast.
