Quill 18 is a multi-block campus-style commercial building located in Cyberjaya. Sitting on a 6.25-acre tract, the MSC- compliant building comprises two office blocks Quill 13 offers visibility and space utilisation
with a net floor area (NFA) of 522,577 sq ft.

“The design embraces the Modernist tradition of aluminium, glass and steel cladding with articulated aluminium sun shading to reduce tropical glare that doubles as an expression of the machine metaphor,” says Low.

She believes the building’s location in the heart of Cyberjaya, which offers plenty of amenities, large floor plates of about 35,000 sq ft each, generous parking space and green low-rise and heavily landscaped campus atmosphere, will draw tenants. Quill 18 is expected to be completed in 4Q2013.

Cyberjaya gets Japan invite
Published: 2012/02/20

CYBERJAYA: Cyberjaya, selected as one of Japan's 2011 FutureCities, has been invited by the Japanese government to its international forum on the "FutureCity Initiative" on February 21.

Other cities selected to share their initiatives are Copenhagen (Denmark), Malmo (Sweden) and Surabaya (Indonesia).

The FutureCity Initiative is one of Japan's strategic projects identified in its New Growth Strategy.

The initiative is to resolve issues such as environment and aging societies in order to create cities that are home to human-centred values.

Based on the initiative, the Japanese government will select several cities as the first models of future cities in Japan.

The government aims to create unparalleled successful cases in order to revitalise urban/regional areas and realise sustainable economics and societies.

Cyberjaya will be represented by Setia Haruman Sdn Bhd general manager (business development) Pipah Mohd Nasir. The company is the master developer of Cyberjaya. Bernama
