JCorp too stubborn to sell that piece of prime land even though they were too broke to develop it, no loss for them since I'm pretty sure the Johor government probably doesn't charge them property tax, or maybe they are given a nice little tax break. Now that they have succeeded in luring the Arabs to take part, this project can have a chance to take off. However, don't be too happy too quick, as Arab businessmen are known to be very fickle when it comes to parting their money in Iskandar, as can be seen from the flop in Medini and Putery Harbour. Let's clap only when the towers top off.

Before that, where is Dubai's Emaar in Iskandar? Already gone?

Or maybe this time by Sultan's effort, he visited Middle East last couple of months ago..

^ The date is 22 November 2015. The launching event will be at the Persada multi-storey carpark rooftop. It's gonna be pretty big event. The source told me, this project is included in Iskandar International Business District (IIBD) masterplan. Well, that was the 1st time I heard about this masterplan. Maybe Fayedlee would know.
They gonna demolished the carpark too.

My source said the event at the rooftop only by invitations. However, JCORP gonna organise a carnival at the road level and it's open to public.

Persada. Uurghh. I pleaded my friend to propose a new exterior for Persada. Lols. If I were the architect for Persada, i won't even put it on my portfolio. It is just hideous. However, the interior is okay though.

As long as Johor corporation had a interest in corporation square, it is unlikely to be well designed , developed and managed as per their past records so far.

The design was inspired by the "peak cap" worn by members of the disbanded Johor Military Force (JMF).

Woahaha! So it should be designed as grand as well. The roof must be more quality than the blueish, eg. the JB Sentral's curvy roof. Exterior facade also should be classy like it's interior and not just 'so-so' dull concrete look.

I can say it's iconic project as they bring royal/state symbol and standard so Persada design should be timeless and gorgeous eternally..
