Those weird aquarium terraces I was banging on about a few posts ago.

Right on the pavement!

How odd - like being put on display or something... I imagine anyone living there would put up some kind of blinds

They're very odd. No roof (yet) and massive gaps all round them. To be honest, a few planters in them and the usual clutter of life and they'll probably look ok. Walking past them going home from work and people sitting in them is going to feel quite unEnglish.

Lots of big, bushy potted plants, methinks!

I absolutely agree! They do not do the building's overall aesthetics any good here and frankly look a bit naff, certainly at street level, to me.

A billposter's delight, perhaps?...

Is the tarmac outside then the final finish? Looks like they could have temporarily tarmacced it before it’s finished off with some planters or hedges etc.

Although the glsss is full length it’s no different to having a front window on the pathway in a modern hosuing estate with blinds open, I’m sure blinds can be added

The white line you can see in the photos is the boundary of the property if I remember correctly, its weirder in reality than in the photos. Maybe the terraces will look ok when its all done but it does like a bit like the developers were trying to shuffle forward like a cheeky defensive wall in football.

The rest of the building looks great, they are fitting out the reception and with pedant bulbs on long flexes and it looks really funky.

This is complete now. Any chance we can get this shown as complete on the interactive map too?

The detailing on these Seven Capital builds really is poor.

Walking past Ridley House the other day, the ceilings over the covered terraces are peeling and flaking really badly. Doesn't inspire confidence in the quality of the builds.
