I was just browsing through Pickard Chilton website and found the renders and description of this project under "research". The cleint sponsor is said to be "confidential" !

Quote:
Mile High Tower
Asia
12,000,000 gsf
Client Sponsor: Confidential
Structural Engineer: Thornton Tomasetti
MEP Engineer: Flack & Kurtz
Vertical Transportation: Otis Research Development
Landscape Architect: Towers / Golde
Status: Research Project
So I guess it is still possible the Kingdom Hodling is the one behind this project but it is also possible that it is just a vision that will not happen!

I can't see tis building having a very efficient use of space. It will be all elevator shafts unless they are planning on everyone waiting an hour to catch a lift.

Bechtel......... I see, good choice really.

Bechtel is well known company and has very good reputation but I hope they bring their staff instead of depending on sub-contractors.

I hope bechtel to be responsible of construction as the main contractor not just management. what do you guys think?
