I think she meant the concourse.
It's pretty disappointing aesthetically. Would've been nicer if it's glass on both sides of the concourse. Then just incorporate a garden when theu already need to build something next to it.

Value engineering.

Imo, Mcia t2 is still superior in terms of aesthetics and materials used based with crk's renders vs mcia t2. Though will wait for the final outcome.

Bawi nalang sa service.

They increased the park and fly fee to 250?
I am wondering if someone can confirm?
Thanks in advance.

Based on these renders , concrete wall talaga siya instead of glass. Maybe for security reasons ?

the open space itself is a clue why that's just a wall, either for future expansion or a different development connected to the airport like malls or hotels.

Not just build. I think they hired the same architects. If you've been through MCIA, you would notice the obvious similarity. Not just the design but the materials used. It really does feel like MCIA 2.0

New Route: Cebu Pacific, Clark to Guangzhou starts November 1st. Is this the 4th and missing route?

There's nothing to view on the landside anyway. Even when the airport is fully developed.

Tugade asked for a design like MCIA, so there you go.

CRK | Clark International Airport

A nice idea would have been to create gardens or a simple park on that empty space and then put glass on both sides for the departure concourse.

I like what they did with the airport in Bangkok:

Perhaps. But you don't really expect those at the gates to be looking at those gardens right? So it's a pleasant view for the people on the drop off and pickup points, but probably not worth the extra millions to make it all glass.

We have to wait what the plans for the Interiors are. I would imagine these would be retail spaces and maybe advertising screens.

I too think that they’ll put retail/toilets/etc. on this side so making it all glass would be a bit of a waste.

I do like the idea of an all glass look though. I just hope they at least try to beautify that wall rather than leave it like that. If they won’t paint it, at least cover most of it with trees and plants.

Well, I do that. I like looking at gardens in airports. One thing I noticed about Singapore Changi (best airport on earth bar none), Bangkok, KL airports which are all in the tropics is the devotion they have in coming up with garden spaces for their airports, greenery is all over the place.

Yeah, it all boils down to cost.

I'm betting on billboards as well that's very likely.

I'd rather watch the airplanes.
