Area B (Concourse and Transport Terminal) na hawak ng Ayala (civil works by MDC and the funds to build it) ang ginagawa sa part na yan. Yung Area C (MRT-7) na gagawin at gagastusin ni SMC thru EEI ata pero they are yet to be built. Yung Area A (LRT-1, MRT-3) na gobyerno ang gagastos (the PHP 2.8B part), wala pang mapiling contractor na gagawa.

Connect to Trinoma?

Also, Area B is still connected to the two terminals.

Isn't that below minimum wage? The Kasambahay law stipulates domestic helpers must be paid 3,500 php and above. In any case, dapat mas mataas ang sweldo otherwise wag nalang magtrabaho sa lugar na kailangan mag LRT ka pa.

Then the purpose of mass transportation is nothing.

Even with the 14k - 16k minimum salary now. Just imagine your daily salary will be 516.00 to 560.00php aday minus SSS and Philheath - 200.00php back and fort. So what's left? 250.00php? Minus water, electricity, gas, food, internet. How bout schooling for the kids, baon, miscellaneous. Absurd! just so Absurd.

5,400 = 200 x 27 days if 6x a day
Pwedeng option is mag motor, monthly mo 4,500 to 5k lang with gas and parking fee mas ma bilis pa.

Old fare:

let say 400k each day ang pasahero
Income 8M per day.

New fare:
100k nalang due to fare increase
Income nila 10M per day.... and... mas convenient pa sa commuters kasi hindi kelangan mag siksikan...

Ang maganda dyan connected at madaling magtransfer from one station to another.

Train lines are constructed by the government to transport masses of people. That is why its called mass transport. Anyway just privatize the whole thing if you want to consider that. Malay nyo mag 200.00php pa yan one way. atleast kayo kayo na lang nakasakay. What many don't get here is that this train lines are subsidize by the government. So why subsidize the rich?

Who is expected to ride a 100php fare?

500 to 800 salary a day = No or once every blue moon?

800 to 1,200.00 salary a day = 1 or 2 times a week?

1200 and up = Always?

Seems like the people here are elitists. They don't care about other people whose incomes are way lower than them. It's just sad to read such indifferent post.

Dapat babaan ang pamasahe or at least 1:1 sa operational cost. Ang goal here is to make people decide to give up their cars to use public transport. Why? because it saves the government a lot of money from building more roads and reducing pollution. Gets or di gets?

I only see three basic requirements for mass transit to encourage people to use it: timeliness, accessibility, and working aircon.

I don't mind getting crushed by the number of people inside the train as long as the aircon is working!

They don't understand the word "mass". They can only think "masa." Of course the consortium which includes Ayala who are only for "sosyal" purposes.

WTF? Think about the students who rely on their allowances and their baon. Think about the lower classes who are strict when it comes to money. Imagine a two train ride travel from SJDM to Cavite without ever experiencing traffic and pollution. Even with a Bulacan to Cavite train ride, that should only cost less than 100!

Timeliness could be expanded to "reliability".
