I hope they do something with this one soon. That plot has been empty like that for years now. It's an eyesore.

A consortium including Hilton Hotels has lodged an unsolicited proposal for a $200 million development, incorporating a hotel and 'World Technology and Trade Centre' in the City Hill precinct. The only vacant blocks still owned by government are each side of Northbourne on London Circuit north or each side of Commonwealth Ave on London Circuit south. The southern sites facing the parliamentary zone seems most likely, with the south-western site, currently largely enclosed by a cloverleaf exit ramp from Commonwealth Ave, already planning for release as a development site within the next 2-3 years. These sites will be served by a light rail stop on the next stage, due to be built over the next 3 years. https://www.executivetraveller.com/h...hotel-canberra
