I don't know what kind of skyscraper design you are heading for, but isn't this just a classic residential high-rise design as we find them all over the world ?
No worse, no better.
I mean, you will probably be disappointed if wanting something too Dubai'sh.

Tbh. the height looks definitely more interesting than the design until now,
but if the facade is covered with beautiful copper or red marble stone, it can still turn out pretty fantastic.

A photo of Sydhavn/West Amager/Carlsberg (there you can add the Pasteur tower) and much more, done by our good drone photographer Rune Solgaard.

I think it looks pretty good. I don't know what people expected.

It's a hell of a lot better than Bohrs Tower.

I just don't understand why they ALL have to be so square.

Maybe its because I'm from Provinsen and therefore easily impressed but I think it looks decent.

I mean we can have designer skyscrapers a la Manhattan billionnaire row .. but then then rice will be way higher ... and people in CPH with that kind of money seem to flock to the harbor, or the Gentofte coast ... not Carlsberg, so ....

@Hafnia: Look at any of the 3 high-rises at Grønttorvet; they're all better. Or Nordbro, for that matter. Or Bella Sky or Cph Towers (at least the latter of the two towers).

And yes, it's definitely an improvement over Bohr's Tower, which is downright ugly. This one is at least decent, but... don't we have higher standards for new high-rises in Cph, especially those that want to be amongst the highest?

Where did the public architectural competition end up? Did it go through the planned municipality approval?

After the disaster that was Bohr's Tower, I expected a push for higher quality. This is not that. It's ok. It's decent. It'll do. If that's what our quality bar is, then sure. But is this a tower we will admire for years to come and look at in awe? In no way. It does nothing to impress, except being tall.

I expect more. I demand more.

Before we see the facade in real life I'll postpone judgment, but so far I agree with the Viking. Not terrible, not great...

1 time gamle billeder at byggepladsen.

I'm still not sold. Not considering that it'll become the tallest residential building around. It will of course depend on the finish, but while it's definitely an upgrade from the very boring and plain Bohr's Tower, it still doesn't wow me.

I'm with you on this one. It's definitely a better brownie than the Bohr eyepoo A bit american'ish looking I think (not a bad thing that is)

It's strange..
When you walk from the very busy and crowded Dahlerups Tårn construction site to the Pasteurs Tårn, that site always seem deserted. Empty. No activity at all.
It's not that the site isn't developing, that you can see on my many photos.
I just don't see, hear any workers, trucks, moving cranes. Nothing whatsoever..

Pictures taken at 17:05 yesterday.

It’s probably quite simple.

Contractor 1: Is to my knowledge probably the main Danish supplier in this field. The company probably has a very detailed plan involving many well integrated subcontractors. A good knowledge of factors such as expected delivery times of various materials (in Denmark) and the seasonal availability of specialised labour, which are fundamental to defining a realistic delivery date of such a project. This Contractor has probably also calculated to what extent they are able to provide the workforce with overtime pay according to Danish collective agreements, in order to speed up the process if needed.

Contractor 2: Well…

Really enjoying your updates of probably (soon) the tallest building in town.
