Oh my... so many trees, cars and people. Must label the pics to help tourists like me to identify those buildings.

Yes..I realised that the Orchard Rd streetscape is very leafy!

The green really stands out, as compared to shopping districts in other cities.

Also, it is quite colourful, no boring greys. Wisma has done a good job updating their streetfront.

How many brands can you spot?

I'm lovin' it

how about underpass? I use them to move about from one shopping centre to another to avoid sun.

Looks like a great place, all the trees on the streets makes it look very fresh and cozy

Now, that reminds me. Citylink Mall is one huge underpass. But, not in Orchard though

McCafes have never really taken off in the United States.

I guess we have Starbucks to thank for that.

Looks like a great street to create memories in.

Great pics RC!

I have heard so much about Orchard Road and the pics transport one to the place virtually!

It looks so modern, clean and yet bustling with activity.

Will have to visit Singapore some day.

On a side note:

I noticed this store 'Mumbai Se' (from Mumbai)

Apparently it is the first of its kind high end Indian fashion store in Asia (outside India) and opened in August 2004. A second store opened in Dubai's Ibn Batutta Mall last month.

I think they are. Theyre the ones at Emerald Place seen in the 4th pic, and behind them is a nice estate of rowhouses at Emerald Hill.

MacDonald House row is very unique and colourful!

But the old beauty that This Fashion occupies had been stripped of everything inside!!!

I wonder If we can go up to MacDonald's terrace, where Expressions is....

MacDonald House, built 1949. The oldest skyscraper here.
