Well, good. Because this one is certainly a tower I'd double down on.

The developers are switching contractors from Pizzarotti to Plaza Construction.

well, switching contractors is generally not a good sign. The developer lost its confidence in the previous contractor to complete the project. Pizzarotti was front and center in the One Seaport fiasco, so I can't blame Madison for wanting to kick them to the curb.

Right, but if there's a new contractor wouldn't it mean the project's not totally dead?

That'd be so sad if this never saw the light of day

This is far from dead. They just need a construction loan.

Hi Hudson11. Where can I read more on that leaning tower on the LES? On your website? Where exactly?

Isn't that the priciest piece of land in Manhattan, ergo the World? Pearl and Wall! Gee. They should just pitch a tent and charge entry to the tourist to just touch the ground there Instead they got the "crickets" doing them the honors!

There's ongoing lawsuits, so we'll know more once all of the discovery has concluded. We don't know if shoddy construction by Pizzarotti or a cost-cutting foundation method selected by Fortis was the cause of the lean. Pizzarotti did have a lot of other problems during construction, including an impressive number of safety violations that included falling concrete and a worker death

Shouldn't the thread technically be Prep instead of On Hold? Doesn't look like they started construction.
