I'm not sure what is proposed for that site. Hopefully something dense and mixed use.

We are voting next week on whether to increase our Riverfront development tax from .01 to .03 on every $100 of accessed value. Not sure how it will go, but I'll be voting yes.

I just want to know what will happen if approved, where will that money go to after.

How far is Riverfront Park supposed to get extended?

They should make a pedestrian bridge from the park to Red Bulls Arena in Harrison.

I believe the money is for the park to continue on the other side of the Jackson Street bridge and eventually all the way to the North Ward. I think it would be great to connect the downtown to the Ironbound with a pedestrian friendly walk.

I have not heard anything about a pedestrian bridge to Harrison. Why should Newark pay for a bridge for people to walk to Harrison? If anything, they should pay for it.

I'm not sure , the whole building is a waste of space. It should be at least 20 stories tall...and be a mixed use retail / residential tower.

Wasn't that the same location for the second proposed prudential tower?
