The New Brunswick Development Corporation (DEVCO) posted an aerial shot of the NBPAC Tower 2 days ago to their Facebook page.

They also link to a highly detailed brochure about The Hub station project

The plaza in Metuchen is finished. The lighting sort of sucks. Looks like a prison yard.

Same project as above, developers and architects suck at designing lighting. Living in those apartments will be horrible

20180218_235138 by J Sinclair, on Flickr

Compare with this one in Metuchen

The Yard at Rutgers is lively

20180221_125425 by J Sinclair, on Flickr

New apartments near Rutgers. What is the point of building context-sensitive designs if the existing context is hot garbage?

The NBPAC is moving fast. At this point I expect 1 floor every 10 days because theyre done with the theater podium.

What's going to go where that small white building/house is that Rutgers is going to demolish?

And who owns those new buildings clad in yellow vinyl siding? Those look awful - talk about low standards! Jeez...

This is the ugly yellow building:
https://aptrentnj.com/property/hub-on-morrell/

I dont know if the Rutgers building that is being demolished has had plans revealed for what they want to put there. It was built in 1915 and Rutgers hates history.

Looking awesome. I wonder what will happen with that tiny historic bank building that will have the parking structure next to it...

How about 78 Easton (the nine story building at the corner of Easton & Hamilton)? Have they started at least demo yet? The building got approvals about a year ago.

I think it gets topped off this week, assuming there is a mechanical level on top.

Bonus: Somerville, NJ

That's great news. Replacing that ugly building in a location that's a reach from most of the mid/highrise district is going to be a huge leap in creating a legitimate city feel in New Bruns. Really happy to see this starting up!

Here's how it will look from almost that same angle (many times more massive than the building that's being torn down):
