helorider14's Misawa, Aomori and Hachinoje

Sharing you photos from my two weeks trip in Misawa, Aomori and Hachinoje.

Misawa (三沢市, Misawa-shi) is a city located in eastern Aomori Prefecture in the Tōhoku region of Japan. Misawa is located in the flatlands on the southern shore of picturesque Lake Ogawara on the east coast of Aomori prefecture, facing the Pacific Ocean. The city has a cold maritime climate characterized by cool summers and cold winters with heavy snowfall.

Misawa serves as a regional industrial and commercial center, with agriculture and commercial fishing playing secondary roles in the local economy. The large foreign presence at Misawa Air Base also makes a large impact on the local economy.

The weather and the leafless trees give it a spooky feeling. I like that architecture of the house.

Hmm, looks too big to be a house. I'm guessing it was an old hotel, public building, or possibly a clinic? (far-stretched guess)...

Well anyways nice photos.

Hachinohe (八戸市, Hachinohe-shi) is a city located in southeastern Aomori in Tōhoku region of Japan.

Hachinohe is located in the flatlands on the east coast of Aomori prefecture, facing the Pacific Ocean. The city has a cold maritime climate characterized by cool summers and cold winters with heavy snowfall.

Hachinohe is the largest city in eastern Aomori prefecture, and serves as the regional industrial and commercial center. Commercial fishing still plays a major role in the local economy, with Hachinohe port having one of the largest volumes of landed fish in Japan. However, since its designation as a new industrial city in 1964, Hachinohe has developed a large coastal industrial belt with a diverse range of chemical, steel, cement and fertilizer products. Major industrial parks include the Hachinohe High Tech Park and Hachinohe North-Interchange Industrial Complex. Hachinohe Port is a major international port for northern Japan.
