Recently Completed Project

In 2010
Maw Tin Towers, Yangoon

The massive complex features two 18-storey towers, 500,000 square feet of commercial real estate and about 130 residential apartments.

It sits at the corner of Lan Thit and Anawrahta roads in Lanmadaw township.

Centrepoint Towers, Yangon

Work on the project, formerly known as the Sofitel, began back in 1995 but was mothballed in 1998.

In 2005 work restarted at the newly renamed site at the government’s urging.

The project has 72,000 square metres of floorspace and includes a hotel, commercial offices and retail space. The commercial tower provides up to 15,500 square metres of A-class office space and 2500 square metres for retail.

There are a lot of high buildings in Rangoon
of Myanmar compare to Phnom Penh,.. however, the city looks not
that modern compare to Phnom Penh,.. the cars are so old,.
and Taxi you cannot immagine... but good points is Rangoon
is much cleaner than Phnom Penh,.. there so so many trees,.. looks so fresh
where Phnom Penh.. damm dusty...

however yangoon has many high rise. But the highest building there is only 25 floors while pp highest building is 32 floors. :-)

it surprised me when i see the skyscrapers in this city. eventhough most of the buildings are outdate, but still a good starting point of Rangoon.... Cheer for Rangoon City.

Sakura Tower is now over 50% occupied on the lower floors, and the owner want to lease out the spaces on the upper floors.

Majority of their tenants are airline companies and banks from all over the world. eg: ING Bank from Netherlands, OCBC Bank from Singapore, UFJ Bank from Japan etc.

So u mean that however they have many buildings but the occupancies rate is lower than cambodia?

Cambodia kingdom of wonder... visiting Angkor wat temple, The biggest temple complex in the world.
