Iconic. Love the stone + terracotta pavements around the well.
Everything feels tranquil and harmonious. Italy feels like the garden of the world.

I see that this flag could look like a spanish one but yellow (gold) and red are the colours of the coat of arms of the town of San Quirico d'Orcia.
The origin of the coat of arms of the Municipality of San Quirico is at the moment yet unknown and this colour's scheme is more similar to that of a family's one rather than a civic emblem. In fact we know that gold and red are also the colors of the ancient coat of arms of the Chigi family from Siena. This mighty family had a branch, the Chigi-Zondadari, that was a feudal lord of the town of San Quirico d'Orcia until recent times (the palace of the same name that you can see in the picture is now the Town's Hall ).

Militello Val di Catania, Sicilia

Militello in Val di Catania (population: 7.262) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Catania in the Italian region Sicily, located about 160 kilometres (99 mi) southeast of Palermo and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) southwest of Catania, on the last slopes of the Hyblaean Mountains. It has a railway station on the line Catania-Gela.
Despite remains of prehistorical settlements and legends of a Roman foundation, the first mention of Militello dates from 1000 AD, when it became a marquisate under the Cammarana.

The golden age of Militello was during the early 17th century, under the government of Prince Francesco Branciforte. The city was destroyed by an earthquake in 1693, but the subsequent restoration added numerous architectural and artistic works of Baroque art.

Chiesa di San Michele di Anacapri, Capri - Campania

The Chiesa di San Michele Arcangelo (Church of St Michael the Archangel) is located in Anacapri, Capri, Italy. It was built in 1719 and stands on Piazza San Nicola , it is octagonal in shape and of Baroque style. Its interior hosts a notable majolica floor mosaic, one of the most important examples of the 18th century Neapolitan school.
