ISL Consults

They ran out of money and decided to cheapen out on all the finishings and now the mall looks so ugly...

Does it look simplistic ? Definitely yes but ugly not really (ugly is the kind of roughly hewn buildings with questionable workmanship you see on the sides of Outer Ring Road, kahawa ,Dagoretti Corner ,Githurai etc)

Washajenga yao, waacheni please. It's a low income building but that's what they could do. It looks clean and safe at least, and functional. Is it top notch, no! But it works and will probably be cheaper to rent space at.

Such a shocking display. this is why you need dedicated interior designers aside from your typical architect. Architects are great, our Kenyan ones need more exposure and lots of it at that. I know am being blunt, but all this finish looks like some DIY stuff pulled off the internet with half the intended budget.....

Been there, its not that ugly, they just didnt use the nice finishes like westgate or full floor to ceiling glass infront of shops. Tmall looks much worse. But Nakumatt seems to be one of the few tenants so colourfull shop displays, interior posters and adverts are missing to add life. Uchumi in capital centre is dying, no other substantial mall past Nyayo stadium on mroad, foot traffic will arrive soon to boost tenancy.

Looks like a mall that should be coming in smaller towns like Nakuru or even Thika. Not exciting at all. Maybe its just a neighborhood mall for people in South C. I don't expect it to draw people from far and wide, only those from those who live nearby or people who may want to pop in from Mombasa road due to traffic.

I LOVE IT .........Sometimes it's better to keep it simple. Those who abhor it muende mka shop huko westgate so some of us can get enough parking space.
