DC is under negotiations with United to build a really sweet looking stadium on the East side of the Anacostia across from the National's new stadium (park). Negotiations are kind of breaking down and United threatened to move to Baltimore.

Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium (U/C) is designed for Soccer. The City is actively pursuing the early rounds of the World Cup.

I think Americans should play soccer on soccer-specific stadiums only. i hate the idea they play such a beautiful sport in a football stadium. A) football stadiums are too big B) soccer games played in football stadiums usually look retarded. you see all those yard lines on the field lol...

anyways i like some of the new designs like kansas city, new york red bulls, etc. these guys are gonna have very nice stadiums. america has lots of land, im sure each team can make its own soccer-specific stadium rather than sharing a stadium with an NFL team.

This is the Wizards stadium in KC that was proposed for a site on the KS side of the metro. It's still up in the air for the time being.

That KC stadium looks great!!!

Indy has been identified as an expansion city in the coming years. I used to be cheerleader when I was at IU and they have a great soccer program. I became a fan then and hope that Beckham's arrival does push the sport up.

They dont leave the football markings on the field!! Thats retarded...

And it sure as hell doesnt look stupid when they get the big teams in here... last summer they had Real Madrid vs. DC United at Qwest Field(seahawks) in Seattle. 70,000 people there... not an empty seat in the whole place...

It was amazing by the way...
