6/10. 432 Park Avenue: bringing the Dubai style to New York—without any sort of decorative features at all! Whee!

The details in this tower are in its simplicity. Its massive windows are impressive and the concrete used is surprisingly clean. Calling it cheap is misinformed. Actually, this tower was the pinnacle of highrise luxury when it was finished. The mechanical levels (labled 'void floors' by NIMBYs, despite serving a critical design purpose) are innovative and provide much needed distraction at night from the fact that not many of the people who can afford to live here have the time to do so. Without them, the tower would be a dark monolith at night and wind loads would be much more noticeable.

7.5/10

One of New York's ugliest buildings . Its a complete and utter eyesore and a place for the rich to park their money. The only reason im not giving it less is the nice lighting

4/10 just for the lighting? Well, I have to admit, the lighting is very well executed.

8/10 simplistic at best but is the worlds 100th supertall and the first building in NYC to surpass the Twin Towers, imagine, this could’ve been the tallest building in New York City

If you ask me, it was the tallest until One Vanderbilt topped out. One World Trade Center's "spire" is obviously just an antenna! (And an ugly one, at that.)

Also, I changed my mind about this. Instead of a 6/10, I now give it an 8/10. As Hudson11 said, the beauty of this tower is in its simplicity.

While I agree with you, technically One Vanderbilt isn’t the tallest due to its antenna and the Central Park Tower is fully topped out
