It’s better than the car park space payment retail outlet on site

Excellent, I recall in someone saying the Pink Chicken building was on its way down, I hope this scheme gets underway as soon as possible, its due to open for 2019 intake, we'll see.

I think we are off guys.

Also there is a couple of porta cabins and the name on them is different to the name i saw a couple of weeks ago on a fence next to the old chicken place for the demolition.

Will be great for another large car park to finally get redeveloped

Great to see this corner finally developed after all these years.

Someone said that Lansdowne House was taking forever, they clearly haven't been on The Forum thread, now that building seems like its taking forever and still looks like its no where near finished

Just drove past, and I didn't notice them in the photos above when I first looked, but there are portacabins on site.

I've done a fair amount of digging - no pun intended - and it looks like CIMC (Chinese company) are on board with Bricks Development for this - CIMC do modular builds & have done student digs before. Bricks and CIMC have worked together previously too - namely on a hotel in Aberdeen & student accommodation in Glasgow.

Like the Hilton Garden Inn at the Airport, these rooms are going to be Chinese factory made, assembled in 3 weeks and shipped here aren't they. This will actually fly right up in amongst the steel & brickwork from Clegg.

There's the link to the Hilton Garden Inn thread with a video of the procedures & stuff
