Kolkata | Residential | Luxury & Super Premium Projects Only | Realty Meter

In SSC, as we discuss about numerous developments in the City, our focus is mainly concentrated on Skyscrapers and Highrise developments primarily, as the forum demands. However, many projects are being developed which may not be in league of vertical developments but are equally assertive to the city's development, particularly in the segment of Luxury and Suoper Premium category. These projects are not merely projects but are a measure of the City's wealth and Absorption capacity.
In midst of all the shortcomings our country might have, I hereby try to list and integrate all costliest projects the city of Kolkata has to offer and will offer in times to come. A measure of the City's Resources and a real trend in Realty Market meter observed from actual prices rather than industry charts.

Will post only projects comprising of

1. Skyscrapers, Highrises, Midrises, Lowrises, Villas, Rowhouses and Bungalows.
2. Projects which have their individual threads will be omitted from this thread. The purpose is to highlight on non highrise projects but are valued in the highest echelons.
3. The project in question, need to have unit size of 1800 sq.ft. or more.
4. The project in question, must have any unit price in excess of INR 12,500/sq.ft. in it.
5. Projects later than 2010 are to be incorporated here. Projects prior to 2010 may not have accuracy in information.

These criterias are to be followed.

Hi Samrat/Mods,

I had proposed to the mods couple of months ago to redefine the real estate threads that would segregate the projects accordingly rather than more threads which is actually a pile up.

Well we already have project updates thread. Now if it can be refined in 3 different categories-

1) Residential Project Updates- Highrises, Supertalls- Any project that is 18 floors and above

2) Residential Project Updates- Midrises- Any project that is less than 18 floors, Townships, Land Development

3) Commercial Project Updates and Guide- Upcoming commercial spaces, retail and warehousing projects.

4) The existing Vertical and Tall Buildings Guide to be renamed as Luxury and Super Premium properties, Highrises, Supertalls and this thread can be merged in that.


This way, the confusion gets avoided and a clear determination of projects are segregated and avoidance of any clutter.

This is a thread only for a certain segment of projects which are above a certain class. This thread has nothing to do with heights.

For all other updates, we have the General 'Project updates' thread which can be continued to post all resi and comm updates as normal. I ind it a quite integrated thread.

For retail and malls, we do have specific thread.

As far as "Tall buildings guide" is concerned, it is specifically about heights in excess of 18 floors. it is applicable for all types of vertical developments, be it commercial or residential, mass housing, affordable segment, premium, super premium and luxury projects.

When I start posting, one can start understanding, what kind of projects will comprise this thread.

Then we/mods can decide whether and how to manage this thread.
