There will still be room for a supertall or two Bourke Place sized towers on the site even with these two residential towers.

I have spoken with ISPT as doing some management procedures work for the site (250 Spencer Street) and it looks like the AGE staff are going to be in the building for another 12 months and then ISPT are looking at getting new tenants into the building once the AGE staff reloate. From what was discussed,they state that the new development will not happen at this stage due to "the current economic climate".

The 2 towers are actually 40-storeys and 52-storeys respectively (not that it makes too much of a difference), with a 4-storey basement carpark and 612 Lonsdale St/Reidy's will be retained.

Im happy that Reidy's will be retained.
I hope it wont be too many years before the main brick ''Age'' building is replaced with a great tall tower........

I'll try and post renders of this by or on the weekend. It's basically Freshwater Place on ecstasy. Very colourful glass, and warped balustrades, might not be everyone's cup of tea though.
