Agree with Dockside. Could be very cool though.

This one might just get through due to the fact the tower doesn't 'sit' directly onto Collins St, going by those renders. Looks awsome!

Wow! I really really like how they've dealt with the space. The whole fish bowl look is smart, and the way the smaller buildings are hugged into the new tower is great.
Oh I wanted to add that it looks like a tree top canopy with undergrowth. Kind making something really linear almost organic.

The great thing about the 100 & 120 Collins Street towers though is that they are barely noticable from the street.

As I think was previously mentioned, there aren't any other examples of buildings in the CBD of this height with zero setback to the street.

The base of the building is a very nice and clever design, but that still doesn't take away the fact the majority of the skyscraper will form an edge directly to the street.

Saying all that however, I would be quite happy if this got through

Hmm dunno if it will get up. I really like the base, but the lack of set back will really force itself onto the streetscape. Even if it was set back slightly, it would work much better.

Awesome! Despite the lack of setback the Collins Street frontage is very well handled. Are there separate renders of the 19L hotel?

Also like Nauru House's (or whatever it's new name is) new podium. The bottom of that one has always bugged me.

It looks a bit odd being right next to Nauru House. If it was taller it probably wouldn't look so strange.

Perhaps they could join the two they're that close?

After seeing the base WOW yes start now.
Im happy the way it does not close off at base level with the two heritage buildings still owning there identity, very pleased..

One thing, how does the 190m hotel fit in ?? Its to be built on Exhibition St, yes ?
But where ??
