(Ayala...)

LRT1 extension to Bacoor, for instance, is stalled even if the Ayala-MPIC consortium is ready to start building because of right of way problems. I heard they bought the wrong properties for right of way, among other not so innocent things on the road called Daang Matuwid.

Sigurado, when they step down, may mga ilang concerned citizen ang magfifile ng kaso dyan sa mga walanghiya mga yan. Yung term na walang hiya base yan sa interview ng DZMM Ted Failon last year pa ata, sinabi ni Atty. Harry Roque na the moment mag step down si Aquino at mga kasamahan, magfifile agad sila ng kaso..

again, the problem here is not mainly with the Right Of way. I think the bigger problem here is the common station in front of Trinoma or SM North EDSA. the geniuses of this outgoing administration bundled that common station with the train extension thus additional delays more so that SM has sued DOTC.

There is NOTHING stopping LRMC from building the extension to Cavite despite the SC TRO to prevent the common station from going to Trinoma. They can continue to proceed to build the LRT1 SEP today. But if ROW is an issue, not much we can do about it until they settle that dispute.

How they handle it will be the determining factor if he can really provide these promised projects in his time.

Si Noli de Castro nga, kahit paano malaking success on his part para matanggal lahat ng squatters along PNR ROW. Kahit pa ano sabihin ng mga tao sa kanya, the fact na nailipat yung mga yun at nabuhay ang PNR during the Arroyo administration, napakalaking bagay na nun.

LRT 1 extension delayed again
posted May 31, 2016 at 11:35 pm

Light Rail Manila Consortium said it expects to start the construction of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 Cavite extension project by September from the original target of June because of the delay in the delivery of right-of-way.

“This year we want to start, actually our target was moved from June to September. We are also mindful that that there is a new government taking over. So, we want just to make sure that they [RoW] are in place when we start construction,” LRMC president and chief executive Jesus Francisco told reporters.

“That’s the main obstacle, but there are also some utilities that have to be moved out of the way,” he added.

Well in fairness to VP Noli, mas madali ROW clearing sa defunct Main Line North kasi PNR RROW padin yun.

Tapos meron ngang article si Boo chanco, maling ROW pa yung nabili. Toinks.
