Which brings this back to the topic of Barangaroo, has any concern gone into the eventual need to increase the height of the sea wall around the site? That lack of foresight is a problem.
are you serious morbi? i’ve already said it’s not a concern, the ground is rl3.6”5m, more then enough if sea levels will only rise a cm or 2 in next couple of centuries ffs
let’s move on from uselsss garb and talk about construction of crown
ffs

You are ignoring a vital engineering concern for this project and calling it garbage. I should be asking if you are serious.
A 2m rise by the end of the century is very plausible which puts RL3.5m in the 2m tidal range of Sydney harbour.

Fortunately as per the document xing lin posted this has already been considered. Where they have gone as far as ensuring generators and other equipment is above worse case sea level rises by 2100.

It'd be more of a concern for the Opera House

That may actually be true. I took a screenshot around this time yesterday and another one just now and it looks like it has gone up a level.

Level 66
Level 67
Okay so I just had a quick look at the plans and it looks like level 67 is actually where the reconfiguration of the core happens. But there was also miner reconfigurations to the core on 66 as well

They wont modify the core, they will just use temporary supports. Too much time to be lost trying to modify and rebuild a core with only 5 pours to go.
